Dr. Sumukh Khandekar, with over 15 years of valuable experience in Trauma and Orthopaedics,
Completed his postgraduate training in India. Before joining Al-Ahli Hospital in December 2008, he served as a Consultant in Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement with the Wockhardt group and the Apollo group of Hospitals in India. Dr. Khandekar also gained extensive experience and training in various NHS hospitals in the UK, including the Trauma Unit at John Radcliffe in Oxford, UK, Heart of England NHS Trust, Birmingham, Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, and The Great Western Hospital in Swindon for over four years, focusing particularly on Joint Replacement, Trauma, and Pediatric Orthopedics.
His primary areas of interest and work focus on Joint Replacement, especially Knee Replacements, and Trauma, with a particular interest in the management of non-unions. Dr. Khandekar has numerous international publications in indexed journals and has delivered several podium presentations in national and international symposia and conferences.
